Hiring a makeup artist for your wedding day can make a huge difference in your pictures.  The makeup used is made for photographic purposes. You want to look and feel great on your wedding day. You also want your wedding pictures to look great too. Certain makeup can leave a white cast to your face, or make your face shiny in pictures. Kathleen only uses makeup that photographs well under all lighting conditions, color or black and white photography. Whether you’re in natural lighting, or in a low light situation that requires a flash, your makeup will photograph beautifully. Airbrushing is available upon request. Airbrushing creates a flawless coverage that can range from light to heavy. A complimentary consultation is provided within the wedding package. The consultation is provided to design the best possible makeup application for the bride. Kathleen takes into consideration your skin type, which colors will look best on you and your bridesmaids. This takes the guessing and worrying out of how you will look on your wedding day. Brides are encouraged to bring magazines and pictures of how they want their makeup and hair.

Kathleen offers makeup lessons. She teaches you what colors best suit your skin and hair color. She goes through your personal makeup collection and tells you what you should keep and get rid of. She suggests products for you to purchase but she doesn’t personally sell anything. She only recommends what she believes is best for your needs. She teaches you the difference between day time and evening looks. She shows you how to use a subtle amount of makeup to create the most impact without looking overdone.
